My Muesli Slice Recipe


Turn my 1 minute $1 Healthy Muesli into a tasty slice! By adding a few ingredients to your breakfast mix, you can enjoy a delicious healthy snack on the go and the whole family will love them too! My Breakfast Muesli Slice isrefined sugar free, dairy free and low in gluten. The best thing is you get 2 meals out of breakfast! I have included my breakfast muesli ingredients again for you below (so you don’t have to find them on my other blog post) with the added ingredients and directions to make the slice. Enjoy!

Ingredients for my 1 min $1 Healthy Brekky Muesli

1 bag of rolled oats (1kg) 1 bag of pepita seeds (200g) 1/2 bag of sunflower kernels (250g) 1 bag of coconut flakes (225g) 1 cup of natural almonds (optional) 1 cup dried sultanas (optional) 1 teaspoon chia seeds in each individual bowl 1 bottle of ground cinnamon (38g)

Directions Combine rolled oats, pepita seeds, sunflower kernels, coconut flakes and bottle of ground cinnamon in a large Tupperware cereal container. Mix well with lid on and secured closed by turning clockwise and anti clockwise until mixed. (Sultanas and almonds optional to add depending on allergies and whether you want to add fruit)

To make my Breakfast Muesli Slice

Ingredients 3 cups of my breakfast muesli mix above 1 cup oat bran 1/3 cup sultanas (optional) 1/2 cup Pure Maple Syrup or Rice Malt Syrup or Honey 1/2 cup coconut oil 1/2 cup boiled water 1/4 cup chia seeds (optional)

Directions: 1. Line a baking tray with baking paper 2. Melt coconut oil in a dish in the microwave 3. Mix all ingredients in a bowl including melted coconut oil and boiled water 4. Press mixture into the baking tray by laying baking paper on top of mixture and flatten out in the tray 5. Bake in oven at 165 degrees celcius for 30 minutes or until brown. Cook further if you prefer a crunchy and not chewy texture

Once cooled cut into pieces and enjoy!
